Major Flooding in Southern Mexico

Dear Friends,
We would appreciate your prayers for our brothers and sisters that we work with in deep Southern Mexico.  I received a report this week indicating that in Eastern Tabasco State, they are experiencing the worse flooding in memory.

One stretch of road about 6 miles long where one of our main churches is located, there are only 5 houses that are not flooded.  Some have water chest deep or higher.  It is difficult if not impossible to travel in that area except by boat.
Last year, water was higher than anyone had ever seen and the people really suffered.  This year it went higher.
The only good news is that Robert's house we are in the process of constructing, is one of the 5 or so houses that are not flooded.
The River that is flooded is called the Usumacinta River and some of the towns along it that we have churches include, Balancan, Emiliano Zapata, Jobal, Chable', La Guayaba, San Geronimo, and Cuyo de Guadalupe.
Please pray for these churches, especially the hardest hit at San Geronimo and Cuyo de Guadelupe.

If you would like to send a donation to our team there, just visit our website at www.thesowerinc.org and you can use a debit or credit card to donate.  Mark it as "Flood Relief" or leave it blank to go to the general fund.

Blessings and Increase,

Scott and Emma McDonald
